Pet Preservation
- Professional Reptile Taxidermy Services -
Through the years of love and companionship that we experience with our pets, it's easy to understand how they become such integral parts of our lives. When any beloved pet passes away it can often be as tragic as the passing of a family member. Though, unlike a dog or cat, when a pet reptile passes most people don't typically think of burial or cremation as options and consequently reptiles often get discarded (same thing with fish).
Most likely this is due to the lack of emotional type of bonding experiences associated with reptiles; in contrast to a purring cat rubbing up against you, or a dog happily greeting you at the door every day you come home from work, etc. Reptiles just don't display the same attributes. However, there are still many unique factors in why we love our pet reptiles. From their sheer uniqueness, to the feeling of owning a miniature dinosaur, there's really nothing else like owning a pet reptile.
Ultimately, when the time comes where you must let go, you do have options. If you don't want to bury or cremate your pet reptile, and "throwing them away" just seems like a waste (because it is), we offer some resourceful options that will allow you to continue enjoying your friend in unique ways for years to come.
Our Pet Preservation Services offers you the ability to save your reptile's skin, quite literally. Depending on the type, size, age and condition of your pet reptile, we may be able to preserve all or most of him/her. The method of preservation you choose is completely up to you.
